333 S. Grand Ave.

Convene, a New York-based workplace hospitality provider, has partnered with Brookfield Office Properties to open its first two Los Angeles locations, both downtown, at 333 S. Grand Ave. and 777 S. Figueroa St.

The company offers meeting and event spaces, flexible workspaces and hotel-style hospitality services and amenities. Convene also said it will offer in-building vertical catering services of locally-sourced food and beverages to Brookfield tenants such as law firms Gibson Dunn & Crutcher and Latham & Watkins as well as financial firms Oaktree Capital and DoubleLine Capital.

The Convene space at Wells Fargo Center on Grand Avenue offers 50,000 square feet of flexible workspace, common spaces and meeting and event space for more than 500 people. The company’s space at 777 Tower on Figueroa Street has 20,000 square feet of meeting space and shared workspace, as well event space capacity of 175.

“Today’s talent requires workplace environments that motivate and inspire them,” said Ryan Simonetti, Convene’s co-founder and chief executive officer, in a statement. “We are thrilled to officially open our first properties on the West Coast in partnership with Brookfield, to provide a best-in-class experience to our corporate clients and tenants within Brookfield’s campus of commercial office properties in downtown Los Angeles.”

Brookfield is an investor in Convene, anchoring the workspace provider’s fundraising during the last two years.
