Scott Minerd is a founding managing partner at Guggenheim. He guides the firm’s investment strategies and oversees client accounts across a broad range of fixed-income and equity securities. Previously, he was a managing director with Credit Suisse First Boston, in charge of trading and risk management for the fixed-income credit trading group. Prior to that, he was Morgan Stanley’s London-based European capital markets products trading and risk manager. Minerd has also held capital markets positions with Merrill Lynch and Continental Bank. He is a regularly featured guest and contributor to leading financial media outlets, including CNBC. He holds a BS degree in economics from Pennsylvania University’s Wharton School and has completed graduate work at Wharton and the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business.
