Jim Andelman, founder and managing director of Rincon, has spent his entire career in and around B2B software. Previously, he led software investing at Broadview Capital Partners in the Bay Area. Before that, he coordinated equity private placements and IPOs for software companies as an investment banker at Alex. Brown & Sons, and served as a strategy consultant at Symmetrix, which was founded by Bain & Co. co-founders. Andelman graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and was first in his class at Dartmouth University’s Tuck School of Business.
