Bradford Howe, who grew up in Santa Barbara, attended UC Berkeley for undergraduate and graduate school (MBA). He began his career as a real estate investment banker with Kidder Peabody, then worked with Security Capital Group and Sam Zell’s Equity Group Investments prior to joining Lowe in 1999. He lives in Pacific Palisades with his wife, Jill, and three kids.

Deal value range: $20 million to $150 million.

Recent transactions: Most recent acquisition was a 106,000-square-foot office building in Northern California that Lowe picked up in October 2016 on behalf of an investment program with a new insurance company client. Over the past five years, Lowe has invested approximately $2 billion in real estate on behalf of its nine pension fund, insurance company, and high-net-worth clients. LEI is owned by a venture of Guardian Life, Lowe Enterprises, and LEI senior management.
