K.C. Krieger succeeded Marc A. Schwartz as chief investment officer on Jan. 1, 2017. Named this year to the top 30 female limited partners in private equity and the top 30 family office rising stars by Trusted Insight, Krieger, 40, started with Broad as an investment analyst and has worked in progressively more responsible positions, most recently as managing director of investments. Before joining Broad, Krieger was a senior consulting associate and team leader with Cambridge Associates in Boston. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Colby College in Maine and is a CFA charter holder.

Industry specialization: Alternative, traditional, and opportunistic investments across public and private markets, including hedge and private equity funds, distressed credit, real assets (natural resources, energy and real estate), co-investments, hedging strategies, long-only equity, and fixed income.
