Blaine Lourd has been involved in the financial services business for more than 25 years. He started his Wall Street career at E.F. Hutton in 1987, followed by stints at Shearson Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns, Dean Witter, Oppenheimer, and A.G. Edwards. Lourd founded LourdMurray in 1996 with the idea of providing fee-only holistic advice with no investment banking, no proprietary trading, no in-house products, fair fees and no broker deal affiliations. Lourd is a board member of the Just Keep Livin’ Foundation and very involved in youth sports and leadership work. A native of New Iberia, La., he graduated from Louisiana State University in 1985. He is married to Crystal Moffett-Lourd and has three children. He is author of the memoir “Born on the Bayou,” published in 2015 by Simon & Schuster.
