The business could be valued at as much as $4 billion. A planned 2010 IPO, which sought to raise $660 million, was shelved amid a weak market. … The long-awaited Marciano Art Foundation opened in mid-May. The museum, at the former Scottish Rite Masonic Temple in Mid-Wilshire, houses art from the private collection of Maurice and Paul Marciano. Like the Broad Museum downtown, the 110,000-square-foot building will be free to the public, who can reserve tickets online. … Bobby Murphy is reported to have snapped up another Venice residence, buying a 1,611-square-foot cottage on a 0.16-acre lot for about $5 million. He and cousin Sam King co-founded King’s Seafood Co. in 1983, which grew to own 20 restaurants across three states, including Water Grill and King’s Fish House. A former chairman of the California Restaurant Association, he was the father of former Business Journal reporter Danny King.
