SpaceX Launches First Spy Satellite

SpaceX launched its first spy satellite on Monday, after scrubbing its original Sunday flight, reports SpaceNews. Elon Musk’s company only received government certification to launch national security payloads in 2015.

Awesomeness Signs Netflix Movie Deal

Awesomeness (formerly AwesomenessTV) announced a movie deal with Netflix for flick “You Get Me,” reports Variety. The company also outlined plans to launch Awesomeness News, which will publish content focused on socially issues, such as politics, the environment, and social justice for Generation Z viewers.

Snapchat Rolls Out New Viewability Score

Snapchat is rolling out a new viewability score to help advertisers understand how much time audiences are spending watching their marketing videos, reports AdWeek. Only available to select advertisers, the viewability score is designed to meet industry guidelines for whether audience attention to a video warrants chargeable impressions. The score is planned to be widely available to advertisers on June 5.
