KB Home blamed harsh weather and labor shortages for weak fourth-quarter profits early Thursday, according to the Associated Press. The company’s shares dropped nearly 15 percent to $10.05 on Thursday, although a jump in revenue and selling prices suggested the housing market continues to recover.

The Los Angeles-based company reported fourth quarter earnings equal to 43 cents a share. Analysts had expected 51 cents.
