Bicycle Casino is hoping for a full house of its own.

The casino on Tuesday will open a seven-story, 99-room hotel in Bell Gardens, marking the culmination of a $50 million project that has been underway since 2013. The hotel, which touts 9,000 square feet of meeting space for conventions or banquets, will include 29 luxury suites up to nearly 800 feet in size, in addition to a fitness center, a pool deck with private cabanas, and a hotel spa and sauna. The Bike Brewery, the hotel bar, will have 28 beers on tap.

Hashem Minaiy, chief executive of Bicycle, previously issued a statement saying that he started feeling like a different man after the first shovel was put in the ground. “I feel like I won the Lottery,” an article by Casino Directory quoted him as saying.

Gov. Jerry Brown earlier this month attended the hotel’s ribbon-cutting ceremony with Minaiy and Robert Carter, president of Carter Management Group Inc., a partner of The Bicycle Hotel & Casino.

In a statement, Carter has described the hotel as a four-star experience.

“It’s a dream fully realized, a perfect complement to the casino, and we can’t wait to share it with our guests,” he said.
