With hundreds of millions of “Snaps” a day, companies like Taco Bell are already seeing the opportunity for Snapchat to be a marketing and business tool. It’s only a matter of time before we start seeing “Snap-Couponing” that requires consumers to be standing at the cash register, cash in hand, to redeem, because that discount is only usable for a few seconds.

I think that these services could potentially grow to be used for such things as communicating sensitive data, such as credit card and personal information, so that they need not live forever online. However, these services would somehow need to become much more secure to be useful in a business setting.
