Twenty In Their 20s: JON BRADFORD

0

What was the biggest challenge?

The six-month point. I have a theory that at six months you know whether this venture is going to fly or flop.

What was the most important lesson you learned?

Trust your co-workers to do their job. Your employees give you higher-quality work at a faster and more consistent rate when they know that you trust them to get it done.

How many hours a day do you put in?

At least 10 hours; often as much as 12 or 15.

Does your youth lead to awkward situations, such as when you supervise older workers?

Not at all. Everyone that works for me knows I can set anyone straight if I need to, but I never really have to.

Will you start another company?

It’d be safe to assume yes.

Could you ever work for someone else?

No, though I’ve had some great offers. At age 19, I decided to stop applying for jobs and start creating them.

What do you do to relax?

I wake up at 7 a.m. nearly every day, hit the gym, and come home to my French press and Nutribullet.
