How many hours a week do you work?

About 30 hours.

Why not retire?

I enjoy working with interesting people on interesting projects and cases. I enjoy being creative and successful.

Does your spouse want you to retire?

No.

Best part of working past 80?

The sense of fulfillment when I resolve clients’ problems. Also, working with appreciative clients.

Are you up to date on technology? Do you use email, cellphones or social networking?

I use email and cellphones. I do use social networking sites, but not regularly.

What’s the best advice you ever got?

Never say no to an opportunity; stay involved in community activities and non-profit organizations.

Do you have experience in that area?

Yes, I was on the Beverly Hills City Council and served as mayor.

What advice would you give to people who want to work well past 65?

Don’t stop and keep fit.

What’s the secret to staying healthy and active?

Keep following a satisfying daily routine, keep your body active, eat well and enjoy every day.

How has your work routine changed?

I work fewer hours than I used to.

What do you miss most from when you were young?

My sports activities have been curtailed, so there’s no more skiing, water rafting and hiking. I also do less foreign travel than I used to.

What do you see in the future?

I wish to continue working as long as I am productive.
