Last year, he gave money to Carly Fiorina’s run for U.S. Senate; she donated $2,500 to World Alliance for Israel Political Action Committee. Press-shy Chernicks have been recent news fodder. Political website Politico reported that Joyce helped fund Jihad Watch, a non-profit against plans for a mosque near Ground Zero in New York. Liberal blogger also published report linking some of Chernicks’ donations to pro-Israeli organizations that supposedly have helped incite American Islamophobia.
