Bonnie Hoxie, the former Walt Disney Co. employee who pleaded guilty to trying to sell confidential earnings information, was sentenced on Tuesday to four months’ home confinement.
Hoxie, the former assistant to Disney corporate communications chief Zenia Mucha, pleaded guilty in September to passing quarterly earnings information to her boyfriend, Yonni Sebbag, who tried to sell the information to investors.
Sebbag pleaded guilty in the case and was sentenced last month to 27 months in prison. Prosecutors claimed he sent letters to at least 33 investment companies, including hedge funds, offering to sell the information he received from Hoxie.
