Food Truck Vendors Sue Monrovia Over Ban

An organization representing Southern California’s popular food trucks has filed a lawsuit against Monrovia for banning the mobile eateries in certain parts of the city.

Monrovia officials passed a hotly contested mobile vendor ordinance in January that barred food trucks from operating in Old Town and residential areas.

Southern California Mobile Food Vendors Association attorneys filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court last week asking the court to throw out the ordinance, which they claim unfairly targets them.
