Shopzilla Inc. said Wednesday that it signed a strategic partnership with Google Inc. that will include the Los Angeles company’s Bizrate ratings and reviews within certain Google search and ad products.

Google’s provides retailer ratings and reviews within its Google Product Search and AdWords features. Bizrate Insights is a consumer-generated review program tied to retailer web sites. The partnership will enable the Mountain View-based search engine to display full length reviews for all retailers that participate in Bizrate Insights.

“Merchant ratings and reviews have been a cornerstone of our company since its founding in 1996,” said Shopzilla President Bill Glass in a statement. “This partnership with Google further solidifies the long- and short-term benefits of participating in the Bizrate Insights program.”

Shopzilla also operates online shopping sites Shopzilla, Beso and SparDeinGeld in the U.S. and Europe. It is owned by Cincinnati-based Scripps Networks Interactive.
