Checked In: LeisureLink Inc., a Pasadena-based provider of marketing and money management services for boutique hotels, timeshare properties and vacation rentals, has announced it’s raising $9 million in series C funding. Investors in the round included Clearstone Venture Partners, Mission Ventures and Wyndham Exchange & Rentals.

Credit Line: National Technical Systems Inc., a Calabasas-based engineering services provider, has received a $65 million line of credit that it will use for acquisitions, working capital and general corporate purposes. The money is coming from Comerica Bank, Bank of the West and U.S. Bank.
Funding Round: DataPop, a Hollywood-based paid-search and ad-management platform, has closed a funding round bringing in $1.7 million. The round was led by Rincon Ventures and included IA Ventures, Momentum Ventures, Accelerator Ventures and a group of angel investors.
Series A: MovieClips.com, a Santa Monica-based site of searchable licensed movie scenes, has raised $3 million in its first round of institutional funding. The money will be invested in its search system. The round was led by Shasta Ventures and First Round Capital.
Media Expansion: Verde Media Group Inc., a Century City producer of media content, has acquired BeyondRace.com, an entertainment and fashion website. BeyondRace also produces online music program “Backstage With BRM.” Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Rolling Out: RealD Inc., a Beverly Hills maker of 3-D cinema and home-viewing technologies, has reached a deal to install up to 500 screens in theaters of Wanda Cinema, China’s largest movie circuit. Installations have already begun in cities including Beijing and Shanghai.
Shaping Up: Physique 57, a New York studio promoting a specialized workout system, has opened a location in Beverly Hills. The 4,000-square-foot facility, at 320 N. Canon Drive, includes two exercise studios, men’s and women’s locker rooms, and store.
Filling Up: Mall owner Capri Urban Investors LLC has signed up two new restaurant tenants for its Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza. The restaurants are Buffalo Wild Wings, a Minneapolis-based chain, and Post and Beam by restaurateur Brad Johnson.
