Aecom Wins Contract

Aecom Technology Corp. on Tuesday said it won a contract worth up to $30 million from the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command to provide utilities design and engineering services for U.S. Marine Corps installations in North Carolina.

The Los Angeles engineering company said its first job will be planning for utility system upgrades at three cantonment areas – which are military quarters – at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune The study is the first step in about $150 million of infrastructure improvements at the installation.

Shares were up 36 cents, or 1 percent, to $29.46 in midday trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
