Aecom Partnership Wins U.K. Contracts

Aecom Technology Corp. said Thursday that one of its joint ventures received a pair of contracts worth a total of $238 million over the next five years in the United Kingdom.

The downtown Los Angeles engineering firm said its ETM joint venture will get about $119 million in revenue from the contracts with Yorkshire Water. The rest will go to Morrison Construction, Aecom ‘s joint venture partner.

The company said the work will include design and build services for capital projects relating to sewage and water treatment works as well as pumping station facilities.

“This important quality-of-life project further expands our excellent relationship with Yorkshire Water,” said Chief Executive John M. Dionisio in a press release.

Shares were up 1 cent, or less than 1 percent, to $28.70 in midday trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
