His is a familiar face among the baby boomer set, and at least one local business is hoping he still holds appeal among his generation.

Don Grady, who hit it big as Robbie Douglas on the 1960s television show ?y Three Sons,?has found success in the musical world with his band, Boomer. The aptly named group aims to give the aging population a sense of empowerment.

?e?e still WAY alive, we?e still positive and we still have a dream to fulfill,?Grady said in a note on his Web site. ?? hoping that when people see me, those who may remember me from the ?0s and those who may not will have a great time with the music.

A new club in Westlake Village hopes to cash in on his appeal. The band recently played the opening of Fiamme? Club Inferno, where Boomer will have a regular gig each Thursday.

The club is not the first business to try to cash in on nostalgic boomers.

?hen the American economy recovers, it will be on the backs of baby boomers,?said author Steve Howard, who recently wrote a book about the baby boom generation, in a statement. ?he best thing any business in America could do right now is to learn how to sell to boomers.?p>
