On New Year’s Eve, champagne flutes with a Sportsmen’s Lodge logo toasted the end of a 63-year San Fernando Valley tradition.

On Tuesday, the glasses will be included among the thousand lots auctioned from the historic banquet hall that closed on Dec. 31. The Sportsmen’s Lodge auction at 12833 Ventura Boulevard will include kitchen equipment, furniture, dinnerware, Western art and stools from the Muddy Moose bar.

“At this point, I’m so heartbroken over this, after saying good-bye to more than 100 of our family members, such as an executive chef, Frankie Avila, who had here 42 years,” said Patrick Holleran, who operates the lodge.
