Hythiam’s CFO Maurice Hebert Resigns

Hythiam Inc. said in a regulatory filing that Chief Financial Officer Maurice Hebert is resigning from the company as of Jan. 15 to take another job.

Hebert has accepted a senior level finance position with a publicly traded managed health care company in Florida, the company said in the filing made just before the Christmas holiday.

Hebert has been Hythiam’s CFO since November 2008. Before that, he had been corporate controller. The company did not supply details on its search for his replacement.

Shares of Hythiam, which provides substance abuse treatment programs, were up 2 cents, or 4 percent, to 47 cents in midday trading on the Nasdaq.
