Ihop Inc. reported a 2 percent jump in third quarter same-store sales Friday that it attributed to successful limited-time offers.

The Glendale-based casual dinning chain also said it expects sales to continue to improve for the rest of 2007 and that it will meet its yearly same-store sales growth projections of 2 percent to 4 percent. This is the 19th-consecutive quarter of same-store sales growth.

Shares in Ihop dipped 1.6 percent, or $1.05, to $63.80 in afternoon trading Friday on the New York Stock Exchange.
