THQ’s CFO Resigns

THQ Inc. said late Monday that Chief Financial Officer Edward Zinser resigned and that Controller Rasmus van der Colff would replace him on an interim basis.


The Agoura Hills-based videogame publisher didn’t give any specifics into why Zinser resigned, but did say to had nothing to do with the company’s financial condition.


THQ said it has already begun the search for a permanent replacement.


Shares in THQ closed down 5.2 percent Monday to $23.86 in trading on the Nasdaq.
