Computer Sciences Corp. said Thursday it has been awarded a five-year, $113 million contract to provide supercomputer integration support for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
The El Segundo-based information technology services company will provide supercomputing systems integration services to the NASA Center for Computational Sciences, a scientific computing facility in Greenbelt, Maryland. The facility is operated by the Goddard Space Flight Center’s Computational and Information Sciences & Technology Office.
The order falls under the General Services Administration Millennia contract. Computer Science shares were down 67 cents, or 1 percent, to $49.94 in midday trading Thursday on the New York Stock Exchange.
