Innovo Group Inc. said Monday that it has named Hamish Sandhu as the company’s new chief financial officer.

Sandhu previously served as chief financial officer of Los Angeles-based California Tan Inc., which manufactures and markets tanning products, Innovo said in a release.

Marc Crossman, the current chief executive of the City of Commerce-based maker of the popular, high-end Joe’s denim apparel line, was appointed to that position back in January, after the company let go of Samuel Furrow Jr.

Crossman was the CFO before being named to head the company and has since filled both rolls.

Shares in Innovo closed up 1 cent to $1.98 in trading Monday on the Nasdaq.
