California Pools, a West Covina-based company, was ranked the number one pool builder in the West by the trade publication Pool & Spa News, the company said Wednesday.

The company also is the No. 3 pool builder in the U.S. This marks the second-straight year the company has received this award.

Privately held California Pools was established in 1952 and has more than 20 offices across the Western U.S. It has built more than 60,000 polls.
