Looking to find a gift for the executive who has everything?

How about a $12.99 Marvin the Martian Vinyl Figure or a $49.99 “Dukes of Hazzard” General Lee Radio Control Car?

Those are the top two sellers from Entertainment Earth, a North Hollywood distributor that specializes in toys and collectibles based on science fiction, fantasy films, TV shows, comics or book properties.

Recently the company issued its list of Top 10 Cool Gifts for Grown-Ups for the 2006 holiday season. “Some of the most popular items this year are things you wouldn’t expect,” said Merchandising Director Adam Pawlus.

Rounding out the top five:

-No. 3. “Firefly” Serenity Ornament ($17.99). Hanging from the ceiling, this model spaceship appeals to fans of the short-lived science fiction TV series.

-4. Freddy Krueger Deluxe Metal Glove ($49.99). It’s the signature accessory of the “Nightmare on Elm Street” marauder.

-5. Kurt Cobain Action Figure ($16.99). The late Nirvana front man is back in plastic, a 7-inch sculpture from the “Smells Like Teen Spirit” video.

Another big seller is the Classic Swearbear Talking Plush $17.99, a 6-inch teddy that swears, curses and insults his owner. The pleasure can be yours for just $17.99 “It’s very foul, but people love it and we can’t get enough to keep them in stock,” Pawlus said.
