Revver, Inc. said Friday that it will provide videos to United Kindom TV channel Fame TV, a YouTube-like cable channel that shows only user-generated content.

Fame TV is broadcast on the U.K.’s BSkyB satellite network, which has more than 8 million subscribers in the U.K. and Ireland, according to Revver. This is the Los Angeles upstart’s first television partnership

Each month, Fame TV will select and air Revver videos that users choose from voting via the Web site Revver.com or via text message. Fame TV collects revenue from the wireless network for texts and will split that with Revver, which in turn shares the revenues with the users who generate its content. The more votes a video receives, the more money a Revver user can make, the company said.

Revver is a privately held Internet company that shares its ad revenue with users who create the site’s content. Revver has received funding from Comcast Cable and Time Warner Cable.
