The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Los Angeles area continued to decline for a second week, falling 17.2 cents to $3.232 for the week ended May 22, according to the Energy Information Administration.
L.A. prices are still 79 cents higher than they were a year ago. Statewide, prices fell 7.5 cents from the previous week to $3.255, but still 82 cents higher than a year ago.
