Cingular, MySpace Strike Deal

Cingular Wireless said Monday that it has signed an exclusive agreement with MySpace.com to give Cingular customers access to their MySpace profiles from their mobile phones.


Under the agreement, Cingular customers will have access to the Santa Monica-based Web site allowing them to edit their profiles, view and add friends, post to blogs and post photos via their phones for $2.99 per month.


MySpace is a unit of News Corp. Shares of News Corp. were up 15 cents to $22.45 in early trading Monday.
