CSC Lands NASA Contract

Computer Sciences Corp. said Thursday it has won a contract to provide engineering services to NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility through a five-year extension on a signed in 2001. The contract is worth about $44 million.


Under the new agreement, CSC will continue to provide project management assistance, software and electrical systems engineering, flight and ground safety and other services in support of NASA’s missions at Wallops.


Wallops is NASA’s principal facility for management and implementation of suborbital research programs.


Shares in CSC were up 40 cents to $53.42 early Thursday.
