Russian gas monopoly Gazprom on Wednesday signed Russia’s biggest-ever takeover, buying control of local oil company Sibneft for $13.1 billion from Roman Abramovich’s Millhouse Capital.
The two firms said in a joint statement that state-controlled Gazprom would acquire 72.663 percent of Sibneft, Gazprom and Millhouse said in a joint statement.
