Amgen Inc. on Wednesday said it has sued Roche Holding AG, accusing the drug maker of infringing on six patents covering its Epogen anemia treatment.
Amgen said the suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Boston, seeks an injunction preventing the manufacturing or sale of recombinant human erythropoietin, including “pegylated” versions that last longer in the body.
