, a Chatsworth-based respiratory care devices firm, reported net income of $589,000 (6 cents per diluted share) for the fourth quarter ended March 31, compared with $209,000 (2 cents) for the like period a year earlier. Revenue rose to $5.43 million from $5.35 million in the year-ago period.



& #8226; Image Entertainment Inc.

, a Chatsworth-based home entertainment company, reported net income of $1.1 million (5 cents per diluted share) for the fourth quarter ended March 31, compared with $973,000 (5 cents) for the like period a year earlier. Revenue rose to $28.9 million from $26.6 million in the year-ago period.


For fiscal 2006, the company expects revenues of between $110 million and $120 million. While Image Entertainment didn’t supply specific earnings guidance for this period, it “anticipates that it will be profitable.” For the first quarter, it expects revenues to range between $19 million and $20 million, resulting in a net loss for the quarter.



& #8226; CarsDirect

has selected Internet Brands, Inc. as its new parent company name, effective immediately. The new name reflects the L.A.-based company’s expansion beyond just automobiles into other consumer transaction categories, such as home mortgage lending. Internet Brands will serve as the umbrella for the company’s consumer brands, including CarsDirect.com, Autos.com, Autodata Solutions, LoanStore.com, BestRate.com and LoanApp.com.



& #8226; Computer Sciences Corp.

received a five-year, $62 million IT outsourcing contract from Anglian Water, a water services company within England and Wales. The new agreement follows a 10-year, $300 million contract that the company signed with Anglian Water in July 1995. Under terms of the agreement, Computer Sciences will provide Anglian Water with IT services including the provision and future upgrading of its IT infrastructure. CSC also will implement services such as customer billing, and Anglian Water’s geographical information systems.
