Crude oil futures headed lower Tuesday following signals from OPEC of a possible production cut.
Light, sweet crude on the New York Mercantile Exchange was down 9 cents at $47.35 per barrel, after rallying as high as $47.80 earlier in the day. Brent crude futures on the International Petroleum Exchange were trading 3 cents lower at $45.50 per barrel.
