Youbet.com Inc. reported net income of $535,372 (2 cents per diluted share) for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, versus a loss of $1.2 million (4 cents) for the year-ago period. Revenue for the Woodland Hills-based online horse race wagering firm rose 14 percent, to $16.2 million.





David C. Treinen, president and chief operating officer of International Aluminum Corp., announced he would retire June 30, the end of the company’s fiscal year. Treinen has been with the Monterey Park-based company since 1964. Ronald L. Rudy, International Aluminum’s senior vice president-operations, will become president and COO.





Computer Sciences Corp. has closed on the $850 million sale of its DynCorp security and aircraft maintenance units. The sale allows the company to redeem two $500 million bond issues by March 11, which will cut fiscal 2005 pretax interest expenses by $30 million. CSC bought DynCorp in March 2002 and has retained the part of the company that manages computer systems.





Impco Technologies, Inc. raised nearly $25 million through two public stock offerings. The company sold 4 million shares on Feb. 5 and an additional 600,000 shares on Feb. 11, at a price of $5.75.per share. Proceeds totaled $24.9 million, of which $1 million will cover expenses of the offering and $10 million was placed in escrow to satisfy the purchase of the remaining 50 percent of BRC, an affiliated company. The balance of approximately $13.8 million will be used for the Cerritos-based company’s working capital and corporate purposes.





En Pointe Technologies Inc. announced earnings for the first quarter ended Dec. 31. The company reported net income of $302,000 (4 cents per diluted share), compared with $241,000 (4 cents) for like period a year earlier. Revenue for the L.A.-based I.T. products firm rose 18.3 percent, to $75.3 million.
