Oil Slides on OPEC News

Oil prices fell on Friday as producer group OPEC appeared poised to keep supplies flowing near full-tilt through the rest of the winter.


U.S. crude settled down $1.27 to $59.39 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, after hitting a one-month high of $61.50. London Brent crude fell $1.36 to $57.31 a barrel on the International Petroleum Exchange.
