, an L.A.-based foodservice warehouse store chain, reported net income of $3.2 million (10 cents per diluted share) for the first quarter ended March 27, compared with $6.2 million (20 cents) for the like period a year earlier. Revenue rose to $427.6 million from $423.5 million in the year-ago period.


The company said the year-ago period included nearly $40 million in additional revenues resulting from a labor strike against the three largest southern California retail supermarket chains.

, a Calabasas Hills-based casual dining restaurants operator, reported net income of $19 million (24 cents per diluted share) for the first quarter ended March 29, compared with $16.6 million (21 cents) for the like period a year earlier. Revenue rose to $268.2 million from $220.5 million in the year-ago period.

, a City of Industry-based digital video surveillance systems developer, reported a 2004 full-year loss of $5 million (61 cents per diluted share), compared with a loss of $423,000 (5 cents) for 2003. Revenue for 2004 fell to $21.1 million from $21.4 million in 2003.
