Services for Travel Trade

The Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau (LACVB) is a private, not-for-profit association that provides an array of services to the travel trade. These services include the following:

Travel Industry Sales

The Bureau’s full-service Travel Industry Sales Department is dedicated to assisting domestic and international travel professionals in developing programs or itineraries for FIT and group packages. Bureau staff will serve as your liaison to hotels, attractions and ground operators by soliciting proposals, conducting site inspections and providing specific information.

Incentive Travel Planning

We can provide incentive planners with suggestions and ideas for innovative theme parties, specialized facilities and promotional items. When time is of the essence, our staff can deliver information within 24 hours.

The Bureau has developed a series of marketing products designed to showcase Los Angeles as a premier, visitorfriendly destination. These products are excellent promotional aids to assist you with the promotion of your Los Angeles tour program.

The Bureau offers:

Destination Los Angeles

This full-color magazine-format visitor guide provides a visually exciting overview of Los Angeles. Called DESTINATION LOS ANGELES, it includes suggested itineraries highlighting stays from one afternoon to a week.

Visitor Pocket Guides

These handy guides are designed to demystify getting around Los Angeles by describing what to see by area, where to dine and special visitor tips. The series of pocket guides includes four local area editions: Beach Cities, Hollywood/How to See the Entertainment Capital of the World; Downtown; and Westside/Beverly Hills. Two specialty guides also are offered: Shopping and Dining/Nightlife.

Slides For Use In Brochures

These slides show Los Angeles sites and scenes, the best of what LA has to offer, for use in brochures and promotional materials.
